What a treat! Lots of space, ponds full of trout and prawns. You can feed them by hand and fish for them with a little hook and some bait. Best of all, you eat the catch. Lots of activities are available as well, from driving golf balls into the ponds to frisbee or just watching the action on the river... More

We had a great day out here with the family. Lots of different things to do and keep the children busy. Also learnt about how the prawns are breed and then had a go at catching a prawn. No extra charges and you can stay as long as you like catching prawns. Bring a book and maybe some sauce to... More

Way too expensive fore my liking, I can't get past the cost of the entrance to say much nice about it. I guess if you took your own food and spent and entire day there it would be worth it. No one ever seemed to catch any prawns when we were there.

Prawn fishing is a bit of fun and very relaxing - expect to stay a few hours if you want to catch any prawns to take home to cook. You can eat in the restaurant but the prawns are very expensive and once-only treat. Great to see the fast flowing river and hot water & steaming flow.

Such a fun place to spend an afternoon. We started with lunch in the café which was tasty. Enjoyed the educational tour/walk through the factory. We made a competition of the fishing…..I won! Fun, but hard work to try and catch them! Lots of fun activities on the walk back to the café. But remember not to use all of... More

I LOVE the prawn park - do not get me wrong. We have to stop everytime we pass through cause I love it so much. What I dont understand is how you can have such varied results each time. We went this time and I did the tour which I hadnt done before.. If you havent done it, I would... More

The prawns were an amazing size but it lacked flavor. I was really surprised. Even the dips didn't kick it up a notch. We didn't participate in the other activities, like fishing for prawns or go on a boat ride, etc. We were passing through on our way down south. The best part about this short visit was the THERMAL... More
