One of the high points of my NZ visit was this exhibition. You need to take time and wait for the sound sculptures to go through their cycle though. Sit back an relax through the noise! More

We visited in june 2005 and were impressed with innovative use of high-ceilinged spaces (a free-flowing narrative of contemporary kiwi culture); quite chic and cutting edge considering the small population and rural scene surrounding this small yet vibrant "city" (250,000 souls if memory serves); will have to return for new G-B exhibition as well as local Maori museum close by...bobeff,...
