The perfect place to view NZ's famous kiwi bird. The walk through the bush is lovely, and the trout pools have some very large trout. More

I was quite disappointed with Rainbow Springs. Its too small and theres not that much wildlife there. It would be ok for kids but its not good value. The new ride they have is a bit disappointing too. Sorry, but for something so new and only opened a few months ago I expected much better than this. More

My husband and I really enjoyed the splash mountain! They didn't have baby kiwis hatched when we went, but we got the tour and she helped point out the kiwis they had. Without her pointing them out, we would have had trouble! More

We paid quite a high entrance fee for two adults when we arrived at around 4:30PM. The park is opened until 9 or 9:30 but it gets dark long before that and the water slide closed at 5. I do not think it was worth the price. Basically there are big rainbow trout in ponds and a small aviary with... More

Hi - thanks for your review. We obviously need to work on our communication a little better! Your ticket was valid for entry into the park the following day as well, so you could experience the parts of the park not open in the evening like the bird show and Big Splash. Sorry your experience wasn't what you'd hoped and... More

Very well landscaped park. Beautiful birds and pools of trout and very educational for the kids. Highly recommend the big splash ride. My 4 year old loved the bird show. Was such a bonus to be able to return at night and see all the fairy lights - very beautiful. Was a little on the expensive side but look for... More

This Kiwi adventure was fun for the whole family, each one of us had on own favorite. The kids liked feeding the animals I enjoyed the large trout (cannot catch one that big) while my wife enjoyed the bird life. There is something for everyone here. It’s a nice clean park with Kiwis as well so why not spend a... More

It was about three years since we visited and quite a few changes had taken place since then including the Big Splash Ride and a lovely play area. A great place, very educational and something for all ages. You can spend quite a lot of time here wandering around the lovely grounds More

Really liked the Kiwi adventure. We were the only ones on the tour. It was very informative. The rest of the park is ok. Feeding the animals was fun for my 8 year old. Don't know if it's worth the cost, but where else will you get to see 4 kiwis? More
