The aquarium is nothing special, except for the feeding of the fish in a giant tank by two scuba divers.

Wonderful family activity in Napier City, Art Deco Quarter. Walk UNDER the marine life displayed in the National Aquarium of NZ. Like penguins? they're all here! a fun and reasonably priced outing for the whole family. Educational too. We loved our day spent at the National Aquarium. highly recommended.

Our first visit to our countries National Aquarium. Pricing is what I expected and on par with other attractions and you can stay as long as you like.

Saying that the place is well set out.

Good aquarium. Not as big as I was expecting.
The Tuatara, fresh water turtles, alligator and lizard enclosures were very good. On the other hand the Piranha and sea turtle enclosures were far too small.
Overall worth a visit.

He interacted very well with the children and adults. Making himself understood even though there was no verbal communication. The other exhibits were all interesting and we had a...

OK it's an aquarium, and a good one at that, but the star of the show for me was seeing real Kiwi in their natural habitat walking about having some grub. Top marks.

Even for the 'grown ups' There are so many different kinds of fish and sea creatures. I'm still a bit confused as to why there is a kiwi enclosure but over all it was lots of fun and great value. Took a good couple of hours to get round by the time we looked at everything and took a thousand...
