A large colonial mansion with a real sense of life for the family and the staff in the 1860s. It seems as if they could still be living there and appear at any time. There are lovely verandahs and a garden, and you can see this must have been a very grand house in its day. More

This is a great place showcasing the history of one influential family in Auckland's history. It show's how these pioneers of New Zealand lived with many fantastic displays and alot of the original furniture.
