It is amazing the standard of workmanship and the dedication of staff behind this trip back in time. My young son loves trains so had a lovely time asking a million questions that were all answered. "Thomas" as a bit of a hit!!! The cafe staff were very polite and there was an interesting array of food - well recommended.

Although we didn't get to Glenbrook this time, we have visited in the past. Well worth the effort to see this friendly dose of steam.

A delightful trip of nostalgia in a steam train. Smoke, noise and a good lot of family groups all contributed to a great experience. Easy to get to, also.

This place keeps so much NZ and railway history alive. The man hours that must be put in to keep the experience, engines and railway running must be immense. It's a great way to travel back to a bygone era and of course my son loved it, what boy or girl wouldn't?

A most enjoyable father & son experience, with my son thoroughly enjoying the involvement, the exhibitions - in fact, he really didn't want to leave. Though in the past, I had brought my daughters to this event, so maybe it was for me also. The smells, the sounds, the hands' on involvement, a wonderful time we had.
