I lived near here and wouldn't often go walking in the bush. There are lots of tracks but take good walking shoes. Take water but the BBQ are free ( watch the no fire times.). Great for mountain bikes. More

Don't go to the main area as they charge too much to get in. Go to peacy road near the 100 yr old tunnel and walk up past the falls to main area or check out the look out on the main entrance all free those bits. More

Huge area with lots to see. Paths are well maintained and there is a great variation. All paths are well signed. Horses are permitted in some areas but anything motorised is not allowed - this makes for a peaceful safe park to use. The bridal trail is fantastic for bike riding with easy access from the Great Eastern Highway. More

Long, easy hikes along abandoned rail beds. Nice views. Easy parking and services at beginning of hike. More
