Very good display of RAAF planes and history. Thanks to the friendly staff and volunteers for putting in the time to present these and to let you know it is appreciated. All neat, clean and tidy with clear signage on displays.
I've been visiting this collection on and off for many years. Its location is near an Royal Australian Air Force retirement village, that (apart from volunteer staff from the wider community) is an invaluable source of very skilled, caring, and passionate personnel, and it shows.
This collection is small but immaculately presented. The largest aircraft are the DC3, Catalina, and...

If you are an aviation tragic and enjoy all things associated with flying spend an afternoon at his wonderful museum. Turn back history as you climb around the displays and soak the the wonders of aviation from the Wright Brothers on.
I have not been there and it is tucked away but the dispays are great, the information is fantastic and the volunteer staff are friendly and informative. An absolute must.
This is an excellent aviation museum with a surprising number of great exhibits, The Lancaster is fantastic, as is the Catalina. They have a good restaurant that visitors can use at lunch time and if you ask they will show you one of only 31 embroideries of Commemorating the Battle of Britain. Great range of merchandise for the aviation enthusiasts...

Other reviewers describe this nice museum well. A good assortment of historical aircraft, both commercial and military, with some nice bits of local (Australian) history included too. Not a modern museum with modern technology displays, but feels a bit more like someone's garage; a labour of love for the many volunteers, clearly, who were thoroughly helpful. Much time could be...

I went with my husband and my 4 young boys. Even though we knew that we would see the aircrafts up close but we were still stunned to see the massive Lancaster. We all had a lot of fun looking at all the aircrafts in there. My two older sons have been learning a lot about WWI and WWII and...

Good varied selection of airframes and other exhibits. Good to see some different exhibitions. Looks like a Vietnam War display is being prepared, which will help tie some of the exhibits together well. The sit in cockpits for children are a good idea, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable. Recommended.
