The beachfront area is perfect for young families and visitors. There are protected playgrounds and picnic areas as well as plenty of parking available. The ampitheatre is a great meeting spot. The cafes and food outlets are plentiful

Having travelled extensively throughout Australia, Europe and Asia, I can definitely say this is a beach that is a must see. White, soft sand, clear blue water and rolling waves that people surf. Isn't this why people visit Australia?

I think the cafe strip is poorly maintained and often feels dirty. I still head here to purchase surfing gear for family and friends but the history of this beach as being one of Perth's premier surfing spots has been lost in the development of this area.

Always love the pristine beaches in Perth. Saw a lot of kite-surfing at Scarborough which looked like fun, and an amphitheatre arrangement on the beach where they had concerts. Lots of parking available, notice a lot of people come down here to exercise - walking, bike riding, roller blading, etc. Some great cafe's to grab a coffee from as well

I've been to a lot of beaches around the world including Hawaii and the Gold Coast, and Scarborough beach is pure white sand with beautiful clear water. I love the casual atmosphere here with shops and cafes that haven't yet been overrun by mass tourism.

Very Popular beech here in Perth, with great hotel accommodation to suit all budgets including a backpackers within an easy walk to the beach. Plenty of eating places, from restaurants, through to takeaways also there are pubs, and a small shopping center. If your into surfing ,then this is one of the best beaches to go to.

Wonderful and gorgeous beach right on the tip of WA. The water is beautiful and clear. Small waves and golden sands. A must stay in Perth.

We combined with trip to Swan River wineries Bought a picnic dinner and watched the Sun go down over the horizon. Very romantic but there were a lot of people with a similar idea to us but that did not spoil it. Parking was OK but you needed to search for a space.
