Lovely clean beach. Good waves for the surfers. Popular with families who purchase fish and chips and sit and watch the sunset. Others go to the bar/s across the road and sit on the balcony overlooking the beach whilst the sun goes down.

A nice place to see and take nice pics, gets a bit busy but good when is looking for some party at the beach.

I went to Cottesloe Beach for the day as every one was all ways talking about it, when i got there i found it as just a beach, the same as all the others that i have been to around australia.

Picturesque view of the sea, exactly like those you see on wallpapers! Took a few shots & used it for my powerpoints & I had people thinking I got them off the internet!
Indiana tea house is where you can go for good food... sad that they took my fav Caesar Salad off the menu though...

Being a Brit, I am used to every half decent stretch of beach coming with a thousand cafes, tacky shops selling buckets and spades, and jangling amusement arcades. So it was fairly surprising to me to see just how little there is at Cottesloe - a few places to eat, and one general store which thankfully sells just about everything....
