Spent 6 days in Kunnunurra at the beginning of 2012. Although it was officially the wet season this year was one of the driest starts to it they have had. Unfortunately because of the season many of the tourist attractions were closed. We were still able to see a number of things including Lake Argyle, the Bungle Bungles (awesome sight... More

The Kimberley's across the top of Western Australia are a phenomenal demonstration of the Australia Outback. Waterfalls rushing down Gorges, Camping under the Stars or Views over the Pentecost River and Ranges from your luxury apartment at Home Valley Station. There is something for everyone and I will definitely be going back - Highly Recommend! More

We booked a 12 day round trip from Broome with " Kimberley Wild". This was actually a three day trip noth to Cape Leveque and a nine day journey along the Gibb River Road to Kununurra, Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungles and back to Broome via Halls Creek. The "Kiimberley Wild" Tour was cheaper than most of the others... More

A fantastic cruise around the southern Kimberley coastline. The crew were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was wonderful, the onship chef was great - every meal was different and extremely well presented. Trips were a bit rushed but we were on tide time. Everything was worked out around the tidal changes. A truly memorable experience -... More

We booked on a 13 day camping tour with Sacred Earth Safaris starting in Darwin & finishing in Kununurra. We chose this tour because of the itinerary, the small group and because we were a bit concerned about taking a hire vehicle with only one spare tyre on some rough terrain. The Itinerary was excellent especially with 2 nights in... More

We hired 2 4WD camper vehicles in Broome and drove along the Gibb River Rd, turned off on Kalumburu Rd, then to Mitchell Plateau, retraced to Gibb River Rd, to the junction with Great Northern Highway, and back to Broome. The vehicles were comfortable, we bought those foam mattress things from Target in Broome to give a bit more cushioning,... More

What a beautiful part of Australia - if you take your time and explore it - take the time to visit the Stations, the Gorges and swim in the waterholes. Friendly people especially at the stations like Charnley River. If you do not drive too fast you will not end up with a flat tire! Mitchell Falls is beautiful, but... More

Sacred Earth Safari tours in the Kimberley's was brilliant . Our 13 day tour with Sacred Earth Safaris in the Kimberley's started in Broome and finished in Darwin. Our transport was a 7 seater 4x4 Toyota although we only had three in our party, my wife and I and from UK and Ron, a bloke from Brisbane. We were all... More
