“Great Place, if you like the bush.”

This is where I wanted to go for my mothers day out... We love being in the bush, going for walks on the tracks, being with nature. “Great picnic site”

We met some friends with kids here for a lunch. We got here early (11:30ish) which was lucky as later it got quiet busy. The area was very clean and shaded, with some nice Roos for the kids to pat. Went for a dip in the falls (although signs recommend against as water is 'untreated'). Toilets here were the cleanest... More

I just luv this place, but then again, unlike the last person's review I am Australian and get the bush, the walking, the need for safety after the incident in Jan 2010, the idea of only required facilities in a National Park and even the flies (heard of Aeroguard?)... may I suggest that if you are a visitor to this... More

I looked forward to visiting Serpentine Falls. I had seen the pictures on the internet of people swimming in the pools. When we got there, there was a padlocked gate so we couldn't get in for a swim, also there were signs warning of various things if you did swim, such as snakes etc. I parked closest to the entrance...
