I love that they have kept the old rides up to date, bit pricey though More

Well, we didn't expect much as we have been to Luna Park is Sydney recently and that was ok. However, the Melbourne version is pretty outdated now. The best part of the place was the hot chips. The roller coasters and rides are old fashioned (which is sometimes fun) and just not that much fun. The place was clean but... More

The rides are very average at best and theres so few you'd be hard pressed to spend more than 2 hours there. Even the main rollercoaster is constantly under construction (past 5 times i went it was being... More

Luna Park in St Kilda is an iconic St Kilda attraction. It has a retro feel and at times verges on tacky, but if you have kids they will love it, and if you like photographing interesting places then its a good one to visit too. It is also home to what seems to be the oldest wooden roller-coaster, that... More

The gateway to the park is a perfect and identifyable photo opportunity, however the park itself is disappointing with outdated rides and dodgy looking operators. The one ride that does look wonderful is the precious carousel. More

The tickets were very expensive if you bought individual tickets (the day pass was quite good value for money - I think it was about $40). Unfortunately we went when there was some boy band appearing at the park so there were an unbelievable number of teenage girls there - but otherwise, the line lengths are very reasonable. The big... We decided to head to Luna Park during a summer night, when it was open late on a Thursday and offering a buy one, get one free admission. We are in our 50s but relieved our - and the memories were revived! It is well worth a visit - no matter what your age! More
