The gateway to the park is a perfect and identifyable photo opportunity, however the park itself is disappointing with outdated rides and dodgy looking operators. The one ride that does look wonderful is the precious carousel.

The tickets were very expensive if you bought individual tickets (the day pass was quite good value for money - I think it was about $40).
Unfortunately we went when there was some boy band appearing at the park so there were an unbelievable number of teenage girls there - but otherwise, the line lengths are very reasonable.

We decided to head to Luna Park during a summer night, when it was open late on a Thursday and offering a buy one, get one free admission. We are in our 50s but relieved our - and the memories were revived! It is well worth a visit - no matter what your age!
