Scienceworks is mainly pitched at young children and school groups. This museum is not really as interesting as most science museums around the world. There are no really amazing exhibits. More

Went to Scienceworks Museum with my partner today for the first time - mainly to see the temporary Wallace and Gromit attraction. It would be a quite expensive day if you wanted to see all of the non-permanent or 'optional' displays on offer as there are extra fees. For example, general admission is $10, the Wallace & Gromit attraction was... More

We did go out of season - it was very quiet and we able to go onto all the interactive exhibits without waiting. Spent 2 hours and could have spent even more - closed at 4.30pm !!! More

Very inexpensive and so much to do for all ages. We took our 4 year old and he loved it. So many things to interact with you never have to say "don't touch that". Make a day of it and take a boat ride there from Crown Casino area. More

We took our 3.5 year old for the first time - he absolutely loved it, lots of interactive displays, activities, room to run around and climb outside - and I can see he will get more out of it each time we go as he gets older and able to take in more of the more complicated ideas. Children under... More

The Nitty gritty super city is fantastic for small children. Hands on interactive areas from pretend play in the cafe, to making music, to building walls, using pulleys. I have 3 children and the 8, 6 and 2 year old are all catered for here. Outside playgrounds to have lunch also. More

Only a short drive from the city, Scienceworks is definitely worth the visit. I have three kids, 12,9,7 yrs and we have been regular visitors over the years. Entry is free for kids, and there is a huge range of interesting activities of a science-based nature to appeal to every age group. In addition the the standard exhibitions there are... More

This place is a real hoot! It's clearly targeted towards kids and young families, but we found it really, really interesting - probably more so than the "grown up" museums. Loved it. More
