This is a great place to take kids to learn about science. Some of the exhibits are a little worn due to their interaction with the public, nonetheless a good place to go. In particular woth checking out is the Planetarium (check the show times online) and the lightning room .

Took Masters 7 and 4 and although they have different interests there was enough there to meet all their needs. Lots of interactive activities and social play areas. Planatiarium was a bit much for the youngest as the show goes for too long for his attention span, but did love it for the 30 mins we stayed in there.

This is good for kids but after 3 visits I have not been back as its the same thing every time . They have not changed anything in tenders here and we are all sick of it. In the summer it is good outside so bring lunch to eat on the grass

A great way to stimulate young brains. School holidays are always super crowded and to be avoided if possible. Sundays are the same. Go early and head furthest away first and you'll get to try all the hands on exhibits

Located neatly at around 500 meters from Sportswood Stn. this place is a wonderful place to be if you have a little awe and liking on how things work. Even if you don't, you will not find this place boring. Simple cross section displays and interactive measures are kept to explain, sound, electricity, sports science, household equipment working, force and... More

Your kids (all ages) will love this place, lots to see and do and very educational for both child and adults. Great place to visit on a cold rainy day.

Lots of activities for a 4 years old. The location is not great though, need to drive there or catch a cab.

Great place for the family always lots to do and things to entertain kids of all ages. Nitty gritty super city great for the young ones. Bring your own food for a picnic as food quite expensive here

We decided to visit here after we found out that the Jewish museum was closed. We travelled by train from Flinders Street to Spotswood. There were heaps of interactive activities and we even saw a lightning show! Exciting for adults and kids alike.
