We were amazed to see the animals in 'natural' surroundings. The rhino, hippos, lions and giraffes were magnificent and to see them up close was a great experience. I loved that our guide and the zookeepers really cared for all the animals and great care taken. but it's a little boring as you don't really get to see the animals as they create the space as close to their natural habitat as possible. I don't think it's worth the trip out if you've only got a few days More

It was my second time at Werribee Zoo although it had been 6 years in between, and in that time they have done a lot of work. It is now amazing to go see and we all had a great day. Go early as it can get quite busy and you spend a lot of time waiting. More

It's better than melbourne zoo because you get a better sense of the animals in their 'natural' habitats. I really enjoyed seeing the big range of animals as well. if you can afford it definitely go on the safari tour because it's worth the money More
