Although I am not big fan of chocolate, but Koko Black is always my favourite. never disappointed. especially the iced chocolate.
As a former regular customer, I was so disppointed today to discover a marked downsize of a dessert I have always enjoyed with no price cut - in fact I think the price may have gone up! We used to love sharing the chocolate ice-cream in a glass with three generous, big scoops and lots of toppings - now you... More
Remember when the branch in the Royal Arcade opened years ago. It was then a good spot for coffee and some chocolates. Dropped in again a couple of days ago and discovered how the mighty had fallen. In the quest for profits the management has totally compromised the quality of its chocolates. Friend and I ordered 6 different types of... More
Hi Ramli1, We must admit, the team here at Koko Black got quite a shock at your description of your experience at Koko Black. We pride ourselves on providing premium products with exceptional customer service in exactly the same manner as we did when we opened in 2003. To clarify, we still today use the same couverture chocolate blends imported... More
I always go here for the hot chocolate when in Melbourne. It is the best in Australia. Typical European flavours in their chocolates too, they are awesome! Cherry lovers must try the Amarena chocolate, it's like you've just picked a cherry from a tree, only covered in chocolate!
The hot chocolate is not your usual hot chocolate - rich, creamy and very chocolatey. Travelling companion had a double expresso over vanilla ice cream ..... Neither beverages recommended for anyone on a diet but a great treat to awaken the taste buds. Spoil yourself, it was great.
awesome range, I keep going back for the dark chocolate salted caramels. Hoping to see a Sydney store soon ?
Visited the Melbourne Koko Black Store with my family. Tried their iced chocolates and ice cream... they were excellent. My kid enjoyed it very much, especially the dark chocolate ice cream.
Definitely the right place to go if you want to eat chocolat (hot chocolat is perfect on a cold day). Make sure you go there when it is not crowded as the place is very popular and quite small. The waiter was really rude with some clients - never seen that in Australia so far...which is a waste for a... More

We went to a few places and shared their tasting plates or bought a selection of chocolates to share, but this was the most "Melbourne" to me, sophisticated in a low key kind of way, with great quality food and a charming location.Onlty quibble, it... I went to Koko Black on Collins St for the second time on Sunday. I was visiting from Perth and I went back to have one of their Florentines with a cuppa. It was very quite there on Sunday the staff advised was flat out on the Saturday. So if you dont want to go when its really busy make... More
