The massive improvement in the environment at the zoo creates a world of its own and it is so easy for kids to run along a path and come face to face with the animals. Excellent enclosures which do their best to keep the animals comfortable and give them a stimulating environment. More

For anyone travelling to Melbourne, make sure you plan this into your itinerary. A vastly better zoo than Sydney's (better exhibits, more animals, larger, not as busy, wonderful jazz sessions in the summer)....although it is hard to compete with Sydney's view of the harbour and its city. More

I love the Zoo!! This one seems to be quite popular. They always have incentives for families and different attractions happening. There can be live music sometimes. The animals are cute and it is quite natural with the trails that have been created. Good for family. More
