In a Jeans store, so entrance took a bit to find. Interesting history. Mostly text to read with some diagrams and machinery. Good basic comprehensive museum.

This was the original tower from which molten lead was poured down through various gauge wire mesh to creat shot.
It was always visible in the city until the late 1960s. 15 years ago the Melbourne Central shopping plaza was built around AND over the shot tower. It now stands within the dome of the central court area.
