My family and I were traveling in 2011 on the cost of Victoria. These was our last stop ans it was great. We weren't sure where we going to sleep that night. Once we got the the caves they where close. The person in charger of the land suggested that we can stay at one of there cabin and it... More

We camped at the camping ground and were very impressed with facilities. Clean toilets and well equipped camp kitchen. One timed hot shower was also a bonus I wasn't expecting. Camp sites were bushy and private and loved little birds everywhere. Great value at $20 p/n for our family of 5. Caves were very impressive and enjoyable. We must have... More

Amazing experience. The tour guide was friendly and gave a good, at times funny, account of the history of this limestone cave and the rock formations as depicted in my photo. I went with my Mum who was amazed too and the tour guide answered her questions. Ticket prices are around $14 adult and $11 pensioner. Not sure about kids.... More

We took a boat up the Glenelg River from Nelson to the cave, but you can also reach it by road. After a steep descent via 60-odd steps down to the cave, we were escorted through it by a knowledgeable tour guide, who pointed out the highlights and explained the history and formation of the caves. The giant pillars, "chandeliers",... More

Princess Margaret Rose Caves is a hidden gem in South West Victoria near the South Australian Border. The cave itself is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning. Situated on the Glenelg River, there are bushwalks, fishing and scenery to suit everyone. More

Such a wonderful visit to this cave. The tour guide was not only well-informed but friendly & helpful. We're english & have been to many caves in other countries but non compare to this simple delight. There were obvious restrictions on 'no touch' of anything to maintain the perfection, but to get close & personal to the stalagtites/stalagmites was truly... More

Went to the Princess Margaret Rose Caves, we stayed in tents and did the caves tour. The operators have apparently recently changed we met the new operators. I have to say she was the rudest woman, I have ever met running a tourist business. The Caves itself were wonderful, but the tour she spouted off at the mouth at a... More
