We travelled with Gray LIne Tours and could not have asked for a better day, this was the highlight of our holiday. We could not speak highly enough of our driver Lee along with Colin who made this tour fantastic. I would recommend this tour to anyone, we were blessed with great weather and our rugged coastline is something to... More

Limited accommodation options, but a good place to go and escape from everything. No Optus phone reception at all. The cheese and oysters were a bit overhyped for my liking, and the ferry takes off early if it feels like it. More

Even though the weather was pretty ordinary on the day of our visit, it was worth the trip on unsealed roads to speak with the custodians of the South Bruny Lighthouse and learn about the history of the place. Great views over the Southern Ocean and South East corner of Tasmania. Some good walks in the National Park as well. More

Amazing island. Fantastic beaches - white sand, beautiful surf and adventure bay is right near a berry farm. Lots of yummy places to check out (oysters, cheese, fudge, chocolate, berries, cherries etc). Drive, eat, drive, eat, swim, eat, drive, eat, go home. A wonderful day! More

best beaches in tasmania... fab day out and about, best sunsets, but the tas gov needs a prod as the ferry service is very over worked - had to wait for 2 boats to get on and same coming back.... not good enough really as it stopped us from seeing what we wanted to see.... bad news to pay $30... Drove over here for the day as had read many positive reviews on here about the Island and thought would be a good day trip. Very disappointed. Drove to the lighthouse and then stopped on the way back at a winery, Shucked, Bruny Island Cheese Factory and BISH. Brought a few things and then headed back again on the barge.... More

I camped and did the touristy thing and found this area like most to be so beautiful and interesting. The camp grounds were well kept and had a wonderful beach. More

We did this walk for the second time. As frequent visitors to Bruny Island we absolutely love everything about it. More
