The place has lovely picnic facilities. On the day we were there , it was blowing a gale and the power cut while we were in the show caves. It's nice if it's the first time you have visited a cave, if not, it's disappointing, there isn't much to see, just 3 or 4 areas and not much variety. The fact that the guide wasn't very good (although knowledgeable) didn't help either.
We saw the caves during a day trip around Kangaroo Island after seeing Admirals Arch. The caves were easy to access down a steep staircase. Amazing formations! Very informative tour by knowledgable guide. A must see!
Brilliant. We were lucky enough to have a tour for two. The guide was a wealth of knowledge. The picnic/bbq area looked to be well appointed........
Melissa was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Small caves, but very beautiful. Beautiful area. Peaceful.
The caves were a welcome respite from the 42 degrees, and when we emerged the change had come. The tour was informative and all questions were answered. Would go back to do the adventure cave tour if posible. The white limestone formations were dazling.
The cave is worth a visit at it is a little different to those in limestone in other states. The guiding staff is very accommodating. Just remember that if you do one of the last tours the wildlife on the road increases in the evening.
Very Interesting experience going 15m below the ground level and getting to see these beautiful naturally formed caves. We will be going back to do the longer tour that takes you down to the original entrance. Well worth having a look.
Visit the caves here and you will see why! The story behind the caves is interesting. Limestone formations are still incredible to see again no matter how many caves you have been in before. Did not have time to do the tunnel tour but don't expect any natural lakes or pools of water as caves are all dried up. Worth...
