My husband- (a train fan since way back) really enjoyed this museum. I was also pleasantly suprised at the interesting displays and detail shown in some of the displays. The sheds are well laid out with plenty of room to move about. The staic displays are lovingly cared for. Volunterrs are friendly and well-informed. There is a well stocked shop... More

Went here because our son is a train-fanatic, but it turned out to be a fascinating museum for the whole family. Many engines and cars are in great condition and can be viewed from inside. More

You don't even have to like trains to enjoy a visit here. The National Rail Museum in Port Adelaide is easily the best display of its type anywhere in the country.
