I have heard it has been improved recently so should probably return. I went to an excellent exhibition downstairs which was great. We need more of these to give a person a reason to keep going back

I had never been to an Art Gallery before. It was really not what I had in my head it would be like. There were paintings I liked and others I disliked.

What I saw of Adelaide’s Art Gallery is fine but I found both Sydney’s and Perth’s Art Galleries better!
Both times my wife and I have tried to see All of the Art Gallery we were unable to.
The first time we went they had an exhibition on and we were told that there was a cost involved to enter...

A lovely regional art gallery with great colonial and australian art. A diverse collection in a gallery of manageable size that also includes asian and modern art, a wonderful place to meander. Also dont miss the restaurant/cafe for lunch.

Everything from old to new and inbetween, logically laid out and spacious. A nice way to spend our last afternoon in Adelaide.

Really lovely old building with some brilliant works. No queues or big tour groups. Up there with D'Orsay or Orangerie.

Nice Setting, difficult menu. Had mussels, OK. Could be better value for money with main courses, or better selection. Nice view. Good Service.

Housed in a lovely building, the huge rooms full of art and history always make me wistful. A must see on the to do list in Adelaide.
