This is the central Adelaide Catholic Church and as most churches, very beautiful. The side garden has a lovely bronze statue of Mother Mary McKillop now Saint Mary holding hands with small children. It is a lovely piece of art.

I was married in this Cathedral, so there is sentimental feelings for it, however since the bell tower was finished some some years ago, it now dominates the Square and is a worthy center piece for Adelaide.

A calming place. The interior is filled with dark amber light in the mornings and afternoons/evenings. Walk down to Our Lady's alter and look back at the bell-ringers' chamber - the bell ringers can be seen through a large glass window. This Catholic Cathedral is far from Australia or the world's grandest but it has a pleasing simplicity of design complemented by use of South Australian stone.
Attending the 1100 Sunday Mass to hear tuneful singing is something I enjoyed. There were about 300 people at this Mass, which took just under one hour.
