i found billabong sanctuary to be a very good day out they have many talks from keepers about the animals as well as some hands on moments where you can have pics taken with some animals like wombats a lizard ,dingo etc they also have a feed the croc hour where they give a talk on them and feed them... We took the kids here and they loved it. They got to feed kangaroos, turtles, got up and close with the crocodiles at feeding time and learnt a lot about poisonous snakes. We will visit again. More

This is well run- good demo's, informative staff, all the land-based Ozzie animal highlights and easy to see. Thoroughly recommended. Only problem is it's 20mins drive out of town, and there is no bus/taxi service. More

I find it too small and very, very hot. But there are crocks and they jump high to catch the bates. I also like how you can touch the animals and get photos done. They have sugar gliders too. That is a big y. More
