A lovely stretch of grass sand and water for the family and couples. Great for exercise early morning and late afternoon, best on a clear day when water is beautiful blue. The Strand is quite a pretty precinct with it's waterpark and views across to Magnetic Island. BBQ's are available, the olympic pool and the rock pool at the northern end. There are pubs and countless cafe's and restaurants. More
