Lovely native flora. I always enjoy coming back here. Great for a stroll, great for young children especially if they have their bikes. Nice place for a BBQ.

This is garden on the edge of the main highway through Rockhampton, it has large gardens with water features and local vegetation. It is worth a stop if travelling to stretch the legs and taken in gardens, bird life and other creatures. Or just to visit and see the sights and have a picnic. This garden is famous for its artificial waterfall which graces many Rockhampton postcards. This is a large park with plenty of space to roam but is generally uninspiring with its landscaping and in some parts a little rundown
The kids play area had a great peddle car railride but that's about it.
There is an old historical railway station here....
