After beeing picked up in Mission Beach we had to wait in Tully for the other customers from Cairns which didn't bother us because we used this opportunity to buy some breakfast. The guides are extremely funny, they care a lot about security and they are very passionate. For lunch we were a bit in a hury but I was... More

We did this full-day rafting down the Tully River with Raging Thunder (Glen was our guide). We've done other rafting excursions in Colorado and Wyoming. This was the most thrilling of them all. The scenery was also fantastic as you ride through a protected rainforest. Before the lunch stop, there is a waterfall that we rafted under...better than any amusement... More

We had been advised by friends to do rafting on the Tully River and we're so glad we did. Myself, boyfriend and friend booked with raging thunder for a full day's rafting. We got picked up from our hostel in Mission Beach which it made it so much easier. On the bus to the river you watch the safety videos... More

I can't emphasize enough how much outright fun this experience is. Unless you're an absolute hydrophobe, this is almost a must-do if you're in the area. I went last weekend for the Tully River full day trip and had such a great time. Our boat guide, Norri (sp?), was funny and also very skilled, leading our team through the rapids... More

Spend the extra money and go for the extreme package, or you will regret it while you watch someone else have all the fun. I was impressed with the guides attention to safety and knowledge of history of the region. Cal was my guide and he did a great job ensuring that we all had a great time on the... More

Absolutely thrilling day! Beautiful scenery, clean water, yummy lunch, helpful guides, lots of screaming and hilarious photos. One of the highlights of my trip to the far north despite the horrendous sunburn! More

I've never done any rafting before but this trip was brilliant, I had so much fun. The guides were excellent and made the day really fun and exciting. As well as the rafting we were able to get out and swim, float through some of the rapids and rock jump. I'd recommend this trip to anyone. More

For ~$185 we rafted the Tully River. My friends and I opted for the "extreme rafting". We were a bit let down when we found out that the only difference from the extreme to the normal rafting was a smaller number of boats and a few swimming activities. The normal rafting still involved cliff jumping but was more crowed with... More

Take the full day down the Tulley. It has some good rapids for beginners and no experience is necessary. The extreme can be done with beginners for just a little extra charge. This all day adventure will make you new friends, you will see some great scenery, enjoy the water, and get some nice sun. The guides are a lot... More

Oh. My. Goodness, what an awesome day!!! My boyfriend wanted to do this, and I wasn't too bothered, but went along for the fun, and it was honestly the most fun I have had in ages! We did the Extreme day, and it really paid off, you get longer in the water, get to do cool things like rock jumps,... More
