Excellent. Back to raw nature. There were just 6 of us on the boat (including our guide) and we had a blast. You go through some basic rapids (up to grade 3) and that is just perfect if you are a beginner. My kids (age 13 & 14) and wife had a wonderful half day out... it was the first... More

Although the Barron river was too high to raft, we had a fantastic time on the Mulgrave. The guides, were all fun and made sure everyone, big or small, young or old had the best day ever! Not once did I feel unsafe or alone, despite going on my own. Everyone was laughing and joking. A brilliant day definitely go... More

We had a great time with Foaming Fury and crew! Our guide was Joe and he was a lot of fun. Unfortunately the river was quite low, so we got stuck quite a bit on rocks, but it was still fun. This is a great river for beginners, if you are looking for big rapids, go to somewhere else. Would... More

I decided to take my Family Tubing on the Mulgrave River with Foaming Fury and we all really enjoyed ourselves. If I were you I would make sure to take some Strong Bug Repleelant as the March Flies (4 times as big as normal ones) annoy you when you are walking down to the water and when you are not... More

This trip is well worth it! Whitewater rafting through the rainforest-covered mountains is a great way to spend an afternoon. Not only do you meet heaps of people travelling with you, but it's also great fun beating the heat with the river, and a thrill when you're going down the rapids. I'd highly recommend this as a great day out! More

The guides give a brief safety drill before undertaking the rafting. They were very helpful and professional. The water was down more than usual on the day we went which made for a bit of a job to get over some rapids. I had a spill but soon was back in a raft. Water levels would make a different rafting... It was my first time whitewater rafting and I really wanted to try it out on our trip to Australia. I did with my mom, and we decided to go the Barron for a half day tour because we were both beginners. The guides were very friendly and informative, we had Luke. The rapids were great for starters, I really... More

We chose the 1/2 day Barron trip, but I wish we had've gone for the full day Tully. Much more exciting. We did enjoy the Barron, but it was a bit sedate. More

Wife and I (62/3) have just done the level 4 Russell River under the guidance of Kendall and Bill. These guys are utter professionals; totally respectful; great coaches; great sense of humour.
