I was in a situation where i needed attention and was in a very remote area of Queensland, lucky for me the Royal Flying Doctor Service was able to save my life

I know a few people who work for this service and they are exceptionally dedicated staff. I would trust my own life with these people.

To see this service for the people in the outlying areas of Australia - it's fantastic. I hope that they can continue this service...it's a real blessing!

My wife had to be transported down to Townsville from Cairns urgently - great staff, great service - we were so appreciative, they went out of their way to allow me to travel with my wife

This shop come information centre is truely needed it explains how the service covers the needs of people who live in isolated areas round the state. Without these people the 'bush' wouldn't survive. The centre is well placed for a visit. Staff are well informed and very pleasant.

Our daughter liked this and it was nice to hear the history of what the flying doctors do.

The only thing I didn't like was the 38c+ heat. You get an entirely different prospective of Australia through the RFD. Words fail me. Increadible, astounding and simply amazing. I love the school of the air children, broadcasting from very remote places.
