Rusty's is a great place to either buy your weekly fruit and veg or simply just visit and soak up the atmosphere. It is predominantly a massive fruit and vegetable market with almost all local produce on display. Its a great local hangout and meeting place and even if you are just visiting Cairns, its worth spending an hour strolling... More

This is the place to visit if you are after fresh local fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately though we were staying in a place with no cooking facility so we weren't able to buy anything to cook. This place reminded me of the markets in the Philippines it was fun and enjoyable. More
