The Queensland Museum is an excellent place to visit, we stop there on most trips to Brisbane and go to various exhibitions that they advertise, this trip it was 'The Mummy' exhibition. We saw the egyptian display recently and noticed the museum had a facelift recently. Go and have another look. More

When i visited they had the Mummy Exhibition on. A little expensive for what it was. About $24/adult and there was a 3D movie and a walk through a room with Egyptian artifacts. But very informative and if you love the Egyptian mummies, you will love this. More

Visited the museum today. Great location, easy access and quite an enjoyable few hours. Firstly, the museum itself is free to access which, for what you get to see, is great. Excellent location, easy to get to by bus, ferry, or walking across the bridge from CBD. If you go before August 2012, buy tix to the Mummy exhibit. More

A very broad collection well displayed and best of all it's FREE. Nice place to spend half a day close to the city. Also near the Art Gallery Southbank and the Library. More

Just not enough for the littlies here. I went with friends, all of us have 3 year olds. There was not much to keep them occupied. There would be plenty to do for primary school kids but ours were just too young. The toilet access with a pram was very hard, didn't see any disabled access, but I can't imagine... More

All the floors are free at the museum except for the science area. It is a good museum to visit to learn about the history of Queensland. Very big museum thats free and not far. More
