We dined at Georges. Meals started between 5:30 and 6:30 were half price. Even so most were from $25 to $35. Good value and terrific views from the restaurant. Very capable staff and quick efficient service.

The good thing is the parking to be had. So one usually can feel good about risking a trip into the city by car. There is plenty to see and do and oh me oh my ......you can eat yourself stupid on really fine fare. It satisfies most people I know to be able to enjoy a bit of the... More

For that romantic dinner with magical views looking across Brisbane River you can't go wrong by heading here. Many Restaurants, cafes, to choose from. Easy location to get to with the ferry stop right at its door step. Range of prices for all.

This area has a lot of eateries and has markets on weekend. You can catch the river ferries from here as well as enjoy a lovely walk along the river. Some nice bars to have refreshing drink. Worth a visit when in Brisbane.

The pier is nice to walk through. Lots of restaurants and markets on the weekend. It is only a 10min walk from the city square.

The early morning walk along here is beautiful. The sun rising across the water & all the joggers, rowers & cyclists make for lots of photo opportunities. Recommend this walk highly.

This is probably the best location in Brisbane for an afternoon drink, overlooking the river with the city-cat and city-hopper stopping right outside. Make sure you go up to the Bavarian beer cafe if only for the view!

What a fantastic spot to enjoy a lazy breakfast, yummy lunch, a few drinks, dinner etc etc. This is a great place to head out for a few hours of people watching whilst sitting at one of the many great restaurants for a meal. We also loved being able to walk off a bit of our meal whilst enjoying the... More
