Went looking for duck billed platypus. Even though my timings was wrong I did see one along with turtles.when combined wit the lovely rainforest walk - a great way to spend a couple of hours . The drive there with its view was an experience in itself . More

The Eungella National Park isn't well advertised or spoken about (at least I hadn't heard of it!). We passed by as we wanted a change from the beach scenery and oh my, what a beautiful place. Not only it is the most certain place in the world to see platypus in the wild, it has fantastic tracks for trekking and... More

Travelled up the valley to Eungella. The view down to the valley was amazing. Took my breath away. Went to where the platypuses and turtles swim in the river. Also stopped at the world famous Pinnacle Pies. An all round trip not to be missed. More
