This was a regular place we would go to in Darwin. We would take a lot of visitors there. The water is warm and relaxing. We went in March and april and not good, too many crocs and no swimming. You are hot and bothered, looking at the lovely water and nope, too dangerous. Not rorth the drive unless you can swim and i wouldn't be game anyway. They have croc traps set just incase!!!! More

although it's a long time since we've been there it's a great spot for a cooling swim in fresh water. An experience you won't get in too many places, swimming surrounded by natural vegetation. There are/were also BBQs there. More
