This museum has evolved from a very miscellaneous collection of military stuff 15+ years ago, to a pretty well-ordered and well-interpreted collection today. This being the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Darwin, that's the most intensively worked section. It's well presented and documented. if you are interested in the bombing of Darwin, here is the place to find out about it all. A short picture show, which uses photos of the day and modern technology which turns it into a short film, sound effects etc just makes it so real. plenty of exhibits as well. More

I remember after coming out going......that should of been free, cant believe i wasted 10 minutes of my life. Seriously its a bit of a trek to get there. We spent a couple of hours at the Military Museum, I did not expect this but the displays are very well set up and easy to move around and large photos and displays. The actual military equipment outside the museum was also fantastic to see. More

So much to see and learn about the past military influence in the Top End. Great to see what was set up for WWII. Reminders of other times of conflict that involved Australian Military. Nearly an expedition in this great place to explore More

This is a small museum but is well presented inits layout and content. The exception to this is one of the exhibit areas where there is a mix of WW II, Vietnam and other conflicts exhibits all in one place.
