It's great to have a recreation park like this for the family and kids - but I found it a little to busy and noisy for my liking. Lots of Children there playing and there don't seem to be any parents, lucky there was a Security Officer/Life Guide on duty. Pity you can't partake of a glass of wine at... More

Very nice drive from city to Park. Easy access and plenty of parking. Very popular during school holidays.Plenty of shade. Great compliment for Wavepool that is next door to Darwin Convention Centre. Facilities clean and well maintained.staff enjoy coming to work. Plenty of sitting areas and plenty of shade. Have been several times as part of birthday group. More

Totally free so kids and adults can have hours of entertainment. Pack lots of sunscreen because you will spend a lot of time in the water. Take as few possessions as possible and certainly nothing you want stolen unless someone is willing to stay behind with your stuff. This is not just Leanyer or Darwin for that matter I would... More

Great family day outing!! Lots of fun for the kids and adults. There are BBQs so you can take your own food and have a little BBQ. Make sure you get some shade though...the sunburn isn't so fun! More

Well done Darwin City Council!! This is an excellent place to keep kids busy. There is a shallow pool and a water play area. All it needs now is a nice cafe :) More

This is a good water park to take the kids to, it's free and there's lots to do. There is big water slides for the older kids and adults, BBQ's, a big playground for the little kids and a water playground with a giant water bucket and slides. There is also a fake lake but this is to be avoided... More

Great day out with the kids. Slides are heaps of fun for all ages - great exercise too going up and down. If you come with heaps of people and want some shade you sometimes need to send a 'forward scout' to camp out under some of the shade. Great day out soon to be rivalled by Palmerston slides. It's free! Opens at 10, slides open at 11. Great play area for children to get wet and explore. The lake is large with plenty of room. Free BBQs and lots of shade and space to spread out. Highly recommend it if you need something to keep the kids busy in the heat. More
