It is part of the Mary River wetlands and is a wildlife experience not to be missed. Corroboree Billabong is Darwin's closest wetland cruise option and you can either drive yourself to the cruise(75 - 90 minutes) or take a half day tour from Darwin. « less

Wonderful warm and friendly service. The tour guide imparted great knowledge of the wetlands flora and fauna, the animals, fish, birds and crocodiles that continue to inhabit the area plus knowledge of the aboriginals use of the wetlands. The boat trip was comfortable, we took the sunset cruise, viewed crocodiles in their natural environment rather than being enticed to jump... More

We had a magical morning cruise on Corroborre Billabong. One of five in our party I enjoyed every moment from the welcome aboard to take a seat and hear safety instructions. Our guide spoke clearly and during our visit shared wonderful glimpses into the wildlife that inhabits the billabong. We were enthralled and time passed quickly. We saw large birds... More

Our guides love working on this beautiful wetland and i am pleased that our customers also notice the passion they have. It is a great place to work as every day is different and they never know exactly what they will see on each cruise which keeps it interesting for them. I am glad you enjoyed your cruise, thanks for... More

Went on cruise today. It was amazing. Guide made the trip. We covered so much ground and saw so much wildlife. You get so close. Spotted crocs and lots of beautiful birds. You get so close to the action on this cruise. And can go to parts of the billabong that are not accessible to all vessels. Looking at the... More

I am glad you enjoyed the Day Tour from Darwin which included the 2.5 hour lunch cruise. Our boat is great for wildlife viewing and accessing areas where not everyone can get too, we regularly get great feedback about this. I appreciate your comments on the lunches but we have surveyed guests before and got an overwhelming response to leave... More

We take a lot of pride in making sure we have fantastic guides who love their job. Great information, a touch of humor and spotting as much wildlife as possible is all part of the experience we provide. Our cruises are good value for money as you mention and much cheaper than other cruises on offer in Kakadu. I`m glad... More

With so many great photo opportunities available, we like to make sure that everyone has a chance to get the best photo they can. We have been using this boat here since 2001 so the wildlife is accustomed to us which allows us to get very close for those great pics you mentioned. Thanks for your review. More

Excellent way to spend an afternoon. The cruise itself was very relaxing, with plenty to see as expected. The guide interacted with everyone on board making the experience even better. The rest of the review is here with photos http://scvstheworld.wordpress.com/2012/10/25/corroboree-billabong/

The Wetlands are beautiful and our guides really enjoy working in this pristine environment. Interacting with customers and giving hands-on experiences is very satisfying for both the guide and the passengers. Thanks for your review. More

What a wonderful way to see the nature in the wetlands of the Mary River! Paul's leisurly cruise took us through serene waterways, quietly sneaking up on the abundant wildlife which appeared to be quite oblivious of our intrusion. Some even came up to the boat to check us out (especially some crocodiles). The expert commentary and the excellent local... More

When walking at Fogg Dam we met a couple of Aussies who were touring NT. We asked if they could recommend a wetland cruise as we were heading to Kakadu in a couple of days. Without hesitation they named the Corroboree cruise in preference to the Yellow River cruises. We were glad we took their advice as the cruise was... More

Firstly may I say that the review from"Oggysouthpark" was just a little unkind and the owners response was fitting. We have just done this tour this morning and it was absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to be just us three out with Paul who fed us such a lot information and, yes, sometimes it is difficult to see loads... More
