Had a good day here. We spent about 3 hours. Lots of good photos, the buildings are interesting and the histories of each of them and the story of the telegraph are well-done. We loved the Trig Hill walk too. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Very good value for money. More

The Telegraph station provides an excellent historical introduction to the founding of Alice - very interesting. Make the climb up Trig Hill - only a few minutes and with great views More

When we arrived, we were the only people there. It was so peaceful. Could only hear a few bird calls. The lady in the shop was most knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The buildings and all the old equipment were in good order for their age and we really learnt a lot about the running and history. Would visit again. More

We walked alongside the Todd River, great walk! But when we arrived there was not much to eat or drink and the admissionfee too high for our budget, so we walked back again, had lunch in town. More

Very factual and informative. Enjoyed immensely. The historical pictures were a delight. An on site guide would have improved the experience More

Worth going and taking a look at. With recent rains, the surrounding countryside is green and the wildflowers are out in full bloom adding to the uniqueness of this attraction. The buildings have been well restored and the displays are very informative. An adjacent park with bbqs also gives families time to sit and enjoy. More

Found this place after a long trek from the Crowne Plaza hotel. Read about this place in the book 'The Singing Line' and wanted to see it myself, was not dissapointed More
