I usually shudder when I see a lizard skitter across my patio. That probably won't change. But, the staff's handling of several reptiles made me momentarily question my negative reaction to reptiles. Visiting the Centre provided a hands on experience as we were allowed to touch various reptiles and we learned that they can be as fearful of us as... More

Very knowledgeable owner, interaction with a few reptiles. Loved the presentation he gave and well worth the visit.

I've seen quite a few reptile parks around Australia as I have a fondness for these wonderful creatures, but I was knocked out by the commentary from Rex who showed our group around. His enthusiasm and knowledge about his subjects was excellent and I learnt many things that I did not know. When I visited the saltwater croc and lizards... More

The guide who took us round was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. But it us all about snakes, goannas and one crocodile so you would have to be really keen to find out about reptiles to make it really enjoyable.

My friend and I had a pretty cool time at the Reptile Centre. After a yummy lunch at the Royal Flying Doctors Cafe, just across the road, we wandered over to the Reptile Centre in time to catch the 1pm reptile show. We were able to pat a bearded dragon, a goanna and a python, among others, and the handler... More

Went to the three o'clock showing. The guide gives us lots of information on all the reptiles they have there. Then he puts a giant snake around you that weighs about 15 pouds if I remember well. You can take pictures and videos. I'm sure if youwent in a reptile center in one of those big cities around the world... More

Try to make sure you go when the talks are on - we got there just as the goanna was showing off her slow walk about the room and then we got to hold Tom, the olive python. The exhibits are very good and nicely presented considering the whole centre is situated in what looks like an older style home.... More

...with snakes, lizards and even a salt-water crocodile - fearsome! Only a handful of folk in our group so the guided tour had a very 'personal' feel to it. The guy who runs the centre is clearly passionate about his work and injects enthusiasm into his talk. Really interesting.

A small but very well laid out Reptile Centre, the chap who took us round was incredibly well versed in all matters related to the reptiles, he was also very entertaining with his snake related humour. He is apparently an official "Snake Catcher" for the town, rather him than me. The exhibits were well laid out, well labelled and very... More
