Wildlife, such as big red kangaroos are seen nearly every day as your balloon crosses spinifex grasses, mulga scrub and cattle stations. The tour includes return transfer from your accommodation in Alice Springs, champagne and a flight certificate. 30 or 60 minute balloon flights available. Daily departures.

Went on the sunrise balloon rise and loved it. Our guides, Byron and Ron were great. The experience of balooning is great anytime. This outfit had 2 people working. This Alice Spring balooning was done by a very professional baloonist who says he went to pilot school. I am a little confused by this review. The participant obviously liked the ballooning and thought our pilot was very professional. She was understandably disappointed that there was no wildlife on the day. This is unusual especially as we nearly always see red kangaroos but this is an element beyond our control. Ballooning over the outback is a dream come true. We did see some kangaroo but wish we had seen more. We had 20 people in our balloon. It fit that many but wish they wouldn't have put so many in the basket. More

Booking and pick up service was very smooth. We had booked for a 1hr sunrise flight but people from the same hotel who had booked for 1/2 hr flight were on the same flight...we didn't gain much altitude as pilot seemed fixed on reaching a pre-determined landing spot...Our flight, at most generous evaluation, lasted 45 mins and not an hour... The focus of our flights is firstly safety and but also very importantly customer satisfaction. It seems in this instance as if we have made a mistake with client charging for which we apologise. If the customer concerned would like to contact our office we will certainly rectify the situation. More

“Nice champagne and good experience”

A hot air balloon ride was something we always wanted to do and it did not dissappoint.It's an early start but worth the effort. The pilot takes you quite high so you get a very good view of the landscape and every body should try this once . More

We were really looking forward to this balloon flight, as it promised to go over the MacDonnell Ranges. Unfortunately, we flew at a low height over flat, burnt-out scrub-land. This review is a little unfair. We definately do not advertise that we fly over the MacDonnell Ranges as our flight path each day is subject to the wind. Fantastic way to start the day. Great view of the landscape of Central Australia. Also get a great view of the American Base of Alice Springs. Followed by champagne breakfast. Just sensational!!!! More

This was a tremendous experience. I'd not visited Central Australia before and this was definitely the best way to experience the amazing outback. The Outback Ballooning guys were very friendly and seemed really experienced and made the adventure a nice personal experience.
