Dave is our guide during our tour to the Blue Mountain. We found this guy very funny and helpful. I guess without him the tour would be dull and uninteresting. Not sure if the company (Oz Trails) has a clone of him.

After this trip finished I sat back and tried to think what we actually received for our $158 and actually it came down to two seats in a 20 seat mini bus and the services of the driver / guide.
As others have pointed out the tour starts with all passengers being collected which is great if you are last...

The tour itself was largely brilliant for a few points (see below). Our guide for the day was informative and nice to talk to. We went to all the important view points and the price (79 AUD) was good.

Our driver/guide was Geoff. Cost for 2 was $138.70 and it was an extra $25 each for the Scenic World rides in Katoomba. Lunch was at our own cost was in Leura. We were picked up at our hotel and stopped for juice and cookies in a park, so the driver could get our payment. We had not pre-paid so...
