Whether your preference is to swim in a sea water pool, take a long walk, have a surf or even a swim in quiet water, Mona Vale has the lot.
Parking is plentiful although in keeping with most beaches in Sydney - expensive.
There are also fairly decent toilets and showers to help get rid of the salt and sand....

I visited the beach during the last Christmas. It was reasonably quiet and peaceful, especially the part with the Long Reef Aquatic Reserve (near the Mona Vale Golf Club). A few kite surfers provided a small show in the afternoon, so I was not bored at all.
