Great beach along the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk. Has a cool pool along the ocean side that is free to the public. There is also a large grassy area alongside the beach where you can picnic or grill. Lots of families hanging out. Definitely a good beach choice if in the Sydney area!

Bronte is stunning the surf can be at times dangerous, but you always have the sea pool to swim in, as well as the bogey hole to the southern side to swim and snorkel. It's a great beach for families with lots of grass areas for the kids to play games, as well as barbeques available. And lots of great... More

This is an amazingly beautiful place. The pool is always crystal clear, the free showers are warm. There are beautiful leather skinned locals sitting about having a chat and if you have little ones who can't manage the waves (I have been dumped a few times) there is a little rock pool too. Something for everyone. Unfortunately the parking is... More

Bondi, just up the road, is pretty, good surf and full of backpackers who CAN'T surf, with some who can't even swim - go figure. Bronte is a surfers beach - break your back. Nice ride on the bus out from the city through the beach side subs. Good day was had by all.

Good place to have a bbq with the friends or family. The beach is next to the bbq area. There is a bus line that arrives there.

If you would like to explore a little further than Bondi Beach, then take the cliff path walkway and follow it through to either Tamarama Beach or further along is delightful Bronte Beach and forest reserve. You can either spend your time sunning or swimming at the beach, or, alternatively, enjoy a walk in the cool forested valley reserve adjoining... More

the coastal views walking from Bondi to Bronte are magnificent. We hung out for an hour and swam in the rock pool at Bronte Beach. There's a cove there that attracts survers and beautiful rock cliff formations above the pool. It's public and free to boot!

I don't like the beach much due to the sand (each to their own) but at Bronte you're able to enjoy the aspects incorporated with the beach while sitting on a grassed area. If you want to swim - there's a pool.

An easy to visit beach close to the city centre. Bronte is mainly residential and a lot less hectic and more down to earth than "sceney" Bondi. Nice for a coffee in a cute cafe overlooking the view.
