Staff in the Manly Information Centre said this was a great experience and highly recommended. Totally wrong. Wasted over 2 hours in the evening doing this. Our guide was SOOO boring and had no charisma whatsoever. Felt utterly bored and couldn't wait to get back on the minibus! There were about 18 of us in a group, half who felt... More

Ask to go on a tour with Dean as your guide - he was great, energetic, funny and informative, and claims to be able to discern the ghosts. We accidentally joined the end of the tour that started before us and the older guy running that was so boring he would have put me to sleep. Dean shared lots of... More

Our family of 3 adults and one 8 year old visited the Quarantine Station at North Head in Sydney for the Family Ghost Tour. We had not been here before and were surprised and delighted to see this well maintained historical facility. It was easy to find the car park and Visitors Centre where we caught a courtesy bus to... I've been before years ago during the day, so I know the history of the place. Mistakenly believed the marketing hype about the ghost tour, so thought why not. Guides can't tell you specifics unless you ask leading questions, so do your research before you go if you must. As no one asked, we got nothing except them pretending to... More

The Ghost tour was part of a package which included a night stay at the Quarantine Station. While I am not a spirit / ghost type it was interesting to wander through the old Hospital, Morgue, grave diggers house and other buildings to see how people lived while they were stuck at the Station. Several people on the tour were... More

Visited Q Station at Manly last July and decided to stay the night when I heard about the ghost tour. I personally did not experience any paranormal activity on the ghost tour, so was a bit disappointed. However, the accomodation was good and it was an oasis of calm in an otherwise very busy month of touring Australia and New... More

We went on the family ghost tour which we all thought would be a moderate tour which would be more fun than creepy. It turns out that it was much creepier than I thought. The idea of imagining all the people who died there gives me the chills. Our tour guide was really good and she explained the history of... More

Did the Investigator ghost tour of Q station, which is led by a medium. It was brilliant. We were given EMF readers and thermoguns (to measure the atmospheric temperature). The temperature dropped from about 20 degrees to 9 degrees when we were joined by Abby, the 9 year old ghost! We also had quite a few spikes on the EMF... More

' It is twelve years since I have been to The Quarantine Station! But I still remember the thrill!. I was in Year 5, 1998 all the way from Port Macquarie- Tacking Point Primary School. This tour was taken in part because of our colonial/gold rush studies at school! Being in such a big group made it exciting plus it... More

We took the ferry from Circular Quay for a day in Manly, then caught a short cab ride to Q Station. After a lovely sunset, we embarked on a "family" ghost tour and couldn't have been more entertained. Our guide, Martin, was terrific; even my teenage son was spooked, the historical aspect was educational, and I enjoyed seeing a bandicoot... More
