I mean, it's a station. Nice and old, I'd be sad if they pulled it down and all, but it's a station. And not the cleanest, most efficient one I've ever passed through at that. More

Central station obviously does it's job, however, even though there are signs everywhere, somehow it's easy for first time visitors to get confused with the signage. More

I visited here a few times it's one of the stops on the Hop On Hop Of Sydney Tour Bus i have to disagree about it being grungy looking.I 've been fortunate enough to been through various UK train stations e.g Airdrie,Glasgow,Dundee,Edinburgh,London e.t.c.sandstone whether it's a church or rail station does look that way over a period of time whether... The sandstone architecture of the main station building looks grand, but everything else is rundown and uninspired. Like many major stations, Central attracts quite a few pushers and pickpockets and there's not much in the way of shopping or dining. More

It is a lovely structure, the Victorian origins are obvious. The grand concourse remonds one of the many Victorian stations which dot the British colonies. The facilites are fairly standard, signpostig excellent and for strangers getting around is no problem at all. If even after that, you are idiot enough to get lost, ( we were), the staff is extraordinarily... More

The Central Station building is wonderful – a real old Australian construction with wide walkways and bold columns and arches. The tower is bold and eye-catching. At the end of the day, it is just a train station, but it was the local crowd around the station that soured it for me – junkies lighting up their cigarettes after a... More

This is a very busy rail station serving suburban, intercity and country areas. There are elevators or escalators for people carrying suitcases so you don't need to always use stairs. Plenty of ticket booths with helpful staff or some automatic ticket machines if you know where you are going. Light rail runs from outside this station to the fish markets,... More

Sydney's transport hub. All trains including interstate trains are coming here. The hotels are very cheap around this station. More

A great central station that could be mistaken for a palace when viewed from its true front facade, look at this building from the park across the road. Inside look past the fast food eateries and rubbish and you will see a great building there's a very good museum as well with the history of NSW railways. This is a... More
