Sydney Harbour would not be the same without Fort Denison in the middle of it, but be warned it is Very Small and you can see all there is to see in about twenty minutes; then you are Trapped until the next ferry comes (or you fork out for a water taxi). More

If you're bored with all the 'ordinary' tourist stuff, this is a nice trip on the harbour and a bit of history. I always enjoy the relative quiet - you're in the middle of the harbour, surrounded by city yet it's peaceful. More

Fort Dennison is a great Sydney landmark. It has been used as a prison, defence building, navigational guide, weather station, and now a restaurant, and historic museum. Catch a ferry and spend some time wandering around. More

Best part of Sydney. Bang ( pardon the pun ) in the middle of Sydney Harbour. Cheaper to get here by water -taxi than Captain Cook boat. Great restaurant with great food and service. Has a little museum that is fascinating. More

Fort Denison has it all, spectacular views, aboriginal and convict history, a restaurant, all just a short ferry trip from Circular Quay. The National Parks Guides give a very interesting tour, take the tour then have lunch. More

A ferry trip to this island where we had the guide to ourselves who explained everything, Later we attended a beautiful wedding here and because of the isolation, it was perfect for all. More

We went for my Grandfather's birthday for lunch and a tour. I wasn't too keen on the whole idea. I'm so glad we went now. It was quite amazing. Australia has such a young history and this place has a whole lot of it! So many amazing stories were told, and actually being able to stand in some of the... More
