Don't sit upstairs at the back of the bus if you want to hear the commentary. We were told they are getting new buses soon with individual commentary. Not the best sightseeing excursion we've been on but certainly not the worst. Expensive compared to others with no free trips included in the price. Still worth going on to get a... More

This was by far the worst city bus tour we have done. The buses were old and tatty...with patched up seats. The commentary could hardly be heard and when it was possible to hear it you got fed up with it because it was very repetitive as the bus retraced it's route. There is a lot of traffic in Sydney... If you do not mind waiting than this is a good way to explore Sydney / Bondi. The ticket is valid for 24 hours but of course the bus do not run for 24 hours - the last bus would run at about 18h00 - so if you bought the ticket at 09h00 AM than practically it would expire by... More

We have been on city tours in many places and I have to say that this was by far the worst. The bus was clean and tidy, but the commentary was poor and most of the time inaudible. The bus does not slow for pictures, and retraces its route! More

It was raining so I decided to do the Hop on/Hop off bus so I didn't have to walk far. The wait times in between buses at the stops is really long so you can only see 2-3 things, especially if you want to see Bondi. I was literally only able to visit the Opera House, glance at Sydney Harbour... More

Had done a great deal of walking around Sydney and wanted a relaxing day with friends. It is great value as you go to Bondi as well (where we had lunch and a stroll along the beach). Commentary is good. On return home you meander around back streets you would not normally travel to. As we approached Darling Harbour we... More

It was excellent value and gave us a good opportunity to see the whole area and to decide what we wanted to see more of. More

At first glance you can't help but snicker at the people that are sitting on this bus, but after awhile you'll notice these buses all over. We looked into a pass and hopped on at Circular Quay. The first place we went- to the top where we had seen and snickered at all of the other tourists...and it was great.... More

I make a point on going on City Sightseeing buses whenever I travel abroad but hadn't got round to doing it in my own city! It didn't disappoint and was a really good way to see more of the city than I really knew about. So don't wait till you go on Holiday, become a tourist in your own city! More

I departed from Sydney Central station, buses went regularly around the city circuit, not as regular to the beaches including Bondi but well worth the trip on this second circuit. The buses run into the early evening so you can use all day. More
