I stop off here often going between Sydney and Brisbane. Over recent years it really has become quite run down. Sure stop and snap a photo, grab a choc banana but otherwise, keep your cash for the Gold Coast theme parks.

We were looking for some thing different, but again, a wet Coffs day. The staff were indifferent, too much commercialism and we couldn't get out quickly enough.

I remember visiting here as a kid and being excited by it all. My wife and I called in (midweek) and it was like a ghost town. No one around to help with advice and the girls serving in the ice cream shop were seemingly put out by us interrupting the conversation to buy something.
Maybe I'm getting old!!

what a great place for the kids we tried ice skating was a bit worried about the kids but they had frames to push on the ice to keep balance they loved it.
very cheap for 2 hour skating and wasnt very cold we had tshirts on

Everytime we go to the big banana it is different. The kids love to see how the lollies are made.

The Big Banana has a fantastic water slide park that the kids will love and Mum and Dad. This is our second visit and my husband talked me into 'having a go' with the kids. It was great fun!
You also must try the chocolate coated bananas!
The staff at the Candy/Lolly store take the prize for the rudest staff...

This is very 70's but fun. Iconic Coffs Harbour attraction with more than just the Big Banana. Toboggan, laser tag, ice skating, puppet shop, candy shop. Great Place to Stop, Revive, Survive

We stopped over to take a couple of photos and then did some shopping in the small gift shop. The gift shop is handy and had lot of imagination gone in with large number of items using (and inspired) by bananas. I got to know that Coffs Harbour contributes a large chunk of banana cultivation outside Queensland in Australia. Didn't...
