This memorial was initially built after all the ANZACS in Egypt and Palestine donated a days pay in 1917 towards it’s construction. It portrays the mateship that goes hand in hand with ANZAC’s, and portrays mounted Diggers in action. The memorial specifically remembers the ANZAC’s who served in Egypt, Palestine and Syria.
